It sometimes amazes us at how intimidated some folks are by their computer. We understand the trepidation though. The fear of losing valuable data, the fear of "breaking" something expensive...the fear of the unknown.
In this section we will present tips, tricks, and tutorials to assist you in your everyday computing experience. From formatting your hard drive (yes - you CAN do it) and installing your operating system, to how to use the right click button to make your life easy. It will all be presented here in layman's terms, with pictures.
During our surfing the net and reviewing tutorials, we noted that the majority would guide you most of the way, but seemed to leave out at least one small detail. This may have been because they thought it was simple logic to deduce the next move, or maybe they forgot to include it. It doesn't matter. To a beginner, or a forgetful vet, the worst feeling in the world is to be in that situation. Not knowing what to do next. Worried that if you do the wrong thing, it could trash your system. Trust me....WE KNOW THE FEELING!
It is our goal to include every detail, no matter how small, to guide you on your way. We'll point out things to look for and what to avoid. Each tutorial will be "test run" by a "newbie", and won't be posted unless he/she is able to successfully complete the project with no unresolved questions.
We are compiling some interesting tips now, so check back often. We should have them online soon. Who knows... you may just become a geek after all!
